![]() But not everyone believes in old school romance anymore. I’m one of the quixotic fools who still believes in unrequited love, that there is a soul mate for everyone, that true love exists. I am a hopeless romantic and I have no problem admitting it. But that’s the problem with having too many options, we can never make up our minds. With so many options, you would think finding a life partner wouldn’t be such a difficult task. It’s the point where the love either dies or begins to grow into something more. This is a pivotal point in any relationship. But as time goes on and as we get to know that person on a deeper level, the mystery begins to dry up. We want to spend time with that person, get to know that person on an intimate level, transition from being an individual to a couple, a partnership. When love is still new, we feel an intense need, hunger almost, for the one we love. It’s amazing how something as simple as falling in love can have such a profound effect on our perception of the world around you. When we fall in love everything becomes perfect and beautiful and we can’t see any fault in the world. We as humans are flawed and nothing can be pure but love is still a beautiful thing and some people are lucky enough to find that one true love early in their life. Ultimately, true love isn’t found, stumbled upon or fallen into, true love is built, slowly and with great care. You have to be with someone for years to know for sure that what you have isn’t just any love, but true love. Love is ever-changing and ever-growing and its extremely rare because it take a great deal of time to develop. Maybe you are lucky and things align perfect for you and you’ve found true love. ![]() ![]() ![]() True love has what it takes to last the test of time, but sometimes what you think is true love is in actual fact not. ![]() Love isn’t rare on the planet but I do believe true love is rare. Humans everyday all over the world fall in love. I read a lovely quote, “True love is not a feeling, but a state of being.” ![]()
